Singer/songwriter Antony Hegarty combines music styles of torch, soul, jazz, cabaret and classical romanticism. He and his band, The Johnsons, are a favorite of New York's music and theatre underground. The group won the UK's prestigious Mercury Prize for 2005's 'I Am a Bird Now,' with the song 'Bird Gerhl' featured in the soundtrack for the movie 'V for Vendetta.' Their latest release is 'The Crying Light.'
