Antje has placed first and second in the prestigious John Lennon songwriting contest and was selected a finalist in the USA Songwriting Competition. She has previously been described as a cross between Tracy Chapman, Ani di Franco and Shawn Colvin. Singer/songwriter Jeff Lang's influences range from Blind Willie Johnson to Richard Thompson. Rolling Stone magazine called him 'Australia's best roots-music artisan.'

Self-categorized as "urban country," Unlikely Cowboy incorporates the sometimes feel good, sometimes heartbreaking twang of traditional country, and adapts to appeal to audiences of all ages and demographics.
