Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Reads Event: Concert: Paul Keller Trio and the Michigan Jazz Suite January 3, 2010

This acclaimed trio will perform Keller's Michigan Jazz Suite (which won the 2009 Detroit Music Award for Outstanding Jazz Recording) in celebration of Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Reads 2010, which, this year focuses on the subject of Michigan. Michigan Jazz Suite is a compilation of 15 jazz tone poems inspired by famous Michigan destinations, people, events and icons and filled with vivid imagery. The trio features Paul Keller (bass), Steve Richko (piano) and Sean Dobbins (drums).
