Pioneer Crew Team To Hold Fundraising Event Sept 20th On The Huron River

Ann Arbor, MI – The Ann Arbor Pioneer High School Crew team will be holding a fundraising event called the Row-Along Regatta on Sunday, September 20th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature a 1 ½ hour rowing class taught by Pioneer coaches which will cover the fundamentals of rowing and includes a row in the Huron River in an actual racing boat. The cost is $50 and includes refreshments. The class is open to adults or youths, but rowers need to be 13 years or older to participate. Since the number of rowing class spaces is limited, interested people need to contact Lisa McKarns at 734-994-1052 or [email protected] to reserve a spot.

The Row-Along Regatta will be held at Bandemer Park, 1325 Lake Shore just off
North Main. Parking is free. The purpose of the Row-Along Regatta is to educate the public about the benefits of rowing while raising money for the Pioneer Crew Team.
