Ann Arbor Area League of Women Voters Forum April 25, 2012

The League of Women Voters-Ann Arbor Area will be hosting two forums on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, for the upcoming May 8, 2012 General Election. The forums will be broadcast on CTN, Channel 19 . CTN will rerun the forums until the election.

The first forum is for District 7-Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners. This election is the result of a resignation and re-districting of Washtenaw County. The candidates are Felicia Brabec (D). Richard Conn (R). This will be broadcast at 7:00 pm-7:30 pm.

The 2nd forum is the Technology Improvement Bond Proposal for the Ann Arbor Public Schools that will be on the May 8th ballot. This forum will be broadcast from 8:00-9:00 pm. This is an information-only forum; the League of Women Voters-Ann Arbor Area has not taken a position on this proposal. The panelists are: AAPS Deputy Superintendent Robert Allen, Brit Satchwell from AAEA, and Donna Lasinski of the PTO.
