Ani Cordero is a darling of the world music scene. She is a founding member and drummer for the celebrated Mexican rock band Pistolera, as well as fronting her own critically-lauded bilingual band, Cordero. Ani was also drummer for New York indie champions Dean and Britta, (Zoe/Rounder). Ani's new release Recordar is a journey through Latin America's most influential folk songs from the 1930s through the 1970s.
