Andy Sheppard's creativity knows no bounds - see his 'Deep River ' project with Artistic Director Joanna MacGregor -and tonight's beautifully laid back and intimate gig showcases another of his longstanding partnerships, with fellow polymath Kuljit Bhamra. Long, unfurling melodies, spicy grooves and subtle improvisation characterize this duo; Kuljit Bhamra's background in classical tabla, bhangra and sophisticated multi-tracking techniques bring a layer of sophistication to the dance rhythms.
