This is a rare opportunity to hear Andy solo. Andy Friedman moonlights as a cartoonist for, most notably, The New Yorker, but the songs written by the "hard scrabble singer-songwriter" (TONY) and "erudite redneck" (Boston Globe) aren't written for laughs. Nicknamed the "Hillbilly Leonard Cohen" (Athens News), he is the embodiment of original Brooklyn country songwriting, presenting songs that explore issues of art, wild dreams, and wanderlust.
