Anastasia Stout, age 16, has studied classical piano for eight years under the direction of Albina Rokhlina, pianist from Moscow, Russia. Anastasia studied voice for the last seven years and, through a merit-based program, sang at Carnegie Hall for the first time at age 11. Two years later, she returned to Carnegie Hall singing solo as part of the featured choir, winner of a national competition.

Last year, she began writing popular music, and at age 15 she performed her first open mic singing one of her original tunes, Dos Vedonya. One week later, she auditioned, and was awarded, a scholarship to attend Blue Bear School of Music in San Francisco. Anastasia’s favorite pop artists include Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Phil Collins. She aspires to become a fully self-contained artist and has a dream to one day perform a musical on Broadway.
