An Evening With Mimi Jefferson October 15, 2007

Mimi Jefferson will present her new book, “The Single Sister Experiment,” to the Houston Public Library community. Jefferson tells the story of Joan, Tisha, and Lila, three single, ambitious, party girls intent on changing their lives for the better. They will attempt to come closer to God, even if it means giving up their boyfriends and club hopping for Bible Study.

“An Evening With…” is an ongoing author series where you will meet well-known authors from several genres. Monthly and semi-monthly events will be held throughout the city at different Houston Public Library neighborhood locations. Authors will read from one (or several) of their books, answer audience questions and talk about what inspires their writing. All events are free and open to the public.
