An Elegant Evening at the Bubble Lounge with Musician Anders Holst and The Champagne Diaries February 22, 2012

The ‘Sting of Stockholm’ is returning to trendy Tribeca hotspot The Bubble Lounge for an elegant night of champagnes, hors d’oeurves, and giveaways on February 22nd, 2012 at 7:00pm. Anders Holst will perform with his quartet, while attendees will have the chance to taste pairings of fine champagnes with delectable small bites guided by The Champagne Diaries author, Cara Alwill Leyba.

After the well received ‘Ladies’ Night Out’, hosted by Anders Holst last August, the Bubble Lounge is pleased to welcome back the American Smooth Jazz Award Nominee for another evening of champagne tasting and music. Known for her popular blog, “The Champagne Diet,” Cara will introduce four champagnes to each table, interspersed with performances by Anders. At the end of the night, the Bubble Lounge will give away a bottle of champagne and attendees will also have an opportunity to win a lesson on how to saber a bottle of champagne!

In keeping with the theme of the evening, Anders will perform covers of American standards touting the elegance of champagne, in addition to smooth takes on tracks by music industry greats, including Billy Joel, Michael McDonald and Stevie Wonder. Anders will also play selections from his most recent Billboard-acclaimed release SoHo Suite, and his previous albums Romantika and Five.
