American Ballet Theater : The Dream/Firebird June 23, 2012

ABT Artist-in-Residence Alexei Ratmansky choreographs an all-new 'Firebird,' a legendary tale of the supernatural creature who helps two noble lovers overcome an evil sorcerer, performed to a score by Igor Stravinsky. Rounding out the program, Sir Frederick Ashton's retelling of Shakespeare's comedy of errors, 'A Midsummer Night's Dream,' is set in the magical woods of Victorian England to a score by Felix Mendelssohn.
