Alton Horticultural Society - June - Scarecrow Competition June 27, 2009

A competition for children up to the age of 11 years (including all year 6). Adults may help to make the scarecrow frame but otherwise it should be the work of children of the relevant age group. Individual and group entries (schools, playgroups, cubs, brownies etc.) Prizes donated by Garthowen Garden Centre. This year we are introducing a painting competition. Children bringing a painting of a scarecrow to the event will receive a plant, grown by members of Alton Horticultural Society. An Alton in Bloom event organised by Alton Horticultural Society. No entry form. Just come on the day with your scarecrow.
