A fusion of scrapbooking (journaling, gathering photos and mementos) and altered books techniques (which includes painting, making windows, glittering and more). Students will get the chance to "harvest" their pressed flowers, botanicals, garden plans, love letters and photos and notes (playing with quotes, calligraphy and fonts). October is a month of reflection and harvest.

Saturdays, October 20 & 27, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Students should bring to class:
-Old books (various shapes, sizes, titles) HARD COVER
-Photos
-Nice writing, poetry or quotes
-Old letters with interesting handwriting
-Old stamps
-Scissors, craft knives
-Ribbon, lace, fabric scraps
-Collage items, white glue
-Copies of images for transfers
-Crayons, colour pencils, markers.
-Scrapbooking tools if they own any
-Watercolours and brushes if they own any
