Fiery rock n’ roll band Aloud makes their Cleveland performance debut on Sunday, September 21st, 2008 at Beachland Ballroom, doors at 8:00pm. Known for their powerful male/female vocal team, smart lyrics, and hooky melodies, Aloud makes their way to The Forrest City from their hometown of Boston, MA as they tour the midwest in support of their new album Fan The Fury (Lemon Merchant Records).

Fan The Fury was produced in NYC by former Sony mix engineer Chuck Brody, whose other independent projects include work with Northern State, American Princes, Five O’ Clock Heroes, and Yoko Ono. The CD features Aloud’s dual vocal team of matter-of-fact tenor/screamer Henry Beguiristain and extraordinary alto/crooner Jen de la Osa. The pair recite and belt over their own shimmering guitars and rhythmic grooves provided by bassist Roy Fonaine and drummer Ross Lohr. A dynamic collection, Fan The Fury is ‘packed with twenty-something rage, but also brims with flourishes and crescendos’ (AlgoRhythms). Since the official Boston release last March, Fan The Fury has received rave reviews from alt weeklies and bloggers throughout the Northeast and beyond, and tracks from the CD are currently being broadcast on over 100 college radio stations nationwide, including WJCU in Cleveland.

Aloud will be joined at Beachland Ballroom by local up-and-coming rockers Redwater Rojo and the talented-beyond-their-years: The Suede Brothers. Music fans of all ages are welcome to attend.
