Allen Stone is a former preacher's kid from Chewelah, WA whose old-school, socially-conscious approach to soul music has won the young twenty-something singer plaudits that have likened him to some of the greats such as Donny Hathaway, Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. He is currently touring in support of his self-titled, major-label debut album, released in July on ATO Records.
