San Francisco’s “Best Comedian of 2009”, Ali Wong, headlines a night of shows at Comix on Friday, September 10th!
After being recognized by San Francisco Weekly and after the SF Bay Guardian awarded her “Best of the Bay,” she headed to New York City. Since then, she has gained a large cult following in New York City and appeared on MTV’s Hatin on ’09
“One of the most fearless comics in the NYC comedy scene right now, Wong’s control of a crowd and the stage could be compared to that of Chris Rock or Richard Pryor,” said Kong Magazine. “Fortunately for us, her tendency for brutal honesty results in devastatingly funny shows.
