A.J. Jacobs is the author of New York Times bestseller The Know-It-All, an “uproarious, genre-bending, memoir-cum-intellectual” account of his experiences reading the entire Encyclopedia Britannica from cover to cover.

Jacobs will be at CBE to discuss his latest adventure and publication, The Year of Living Biblically, on Sunday, March 9, at 11:00 am. He will explain what possessed him to read the Bible—multiple versions and commentaries, even—and attempt to live by each of its over 700 rules, an experiment which affected every aspect of his life.

A.J. Jacobs is the editor at large of Esquire and has been a writer for Entertainment Weekly. He has contributed to the New York Times, New York magazine and NPR’s Weekend Edition, among others.
