In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Andanza Spanish Arts and ODC Theater presents an invigorating, original work, showcasing the eclectic and rich music and dance traditions of Spain. Zarzuela, Classical, Folkloric and Flamenco forms will be exquisitely performed in "Aire y Gracia" through dance, voice and live music, by a cast of 15 world-class artists.

Andanza Spanish Arts co-founders, internationally acclaimed choreographer Danica Sena, and world-renowned tenor Claudio Santome lead this one-of-a-kind program featuring special guests: choreographer Norberto Martinez and Grupo Folklorico Atlatonin, choreographer Alicia Adame, a cast of ten dancers, vocalist Rosa de Huelva of Seville, pianist Alison Lovejoy and guitarist Alfredo Caceres.

Andanza Spanish Arts is proud to donate proceeds from the matinee performance to ODC's "Sponsor a Teen" youth program.

Danica Sena, Artistic Director of Andanza Spanish Arts explains that she was inspired to create such a varied program because the origin of Spanish music and dance itself is very broad. Ms. Sena explains, "It's a little known fact that Spanish music and dance is as rich as it is because centuries ago, it was influenced by people as far and wide as the Africans, Phoenicians and even the Celts. This is fascinating to me and why I believe Spanish music is so easy for people of different cultures to relate to."

Andanza Spanish Arts is a company of professional singers, dancers and musicians dedicated to promoting and presenting the elegant, colorful and widely varied repertoire of Spain, and is the only one of its kind in California. Andanza Spanish Arts also proudly serves the San Francisco Bay Area community by providing educational workshops for children and adults, and by regularly performing at benefits for local non-profit organizations.

General Admission - Matinee Performance $15/20; Evening Performance w/Reception $20/25.
