HUNGRY FOR DESIGN?

This IDEA series will feature three of the top restaurant designers in San Diego: Michael Soriano from Onairos Design, Paul Basile of Basile Studio and Barbara Rourke from Bells & Whistles. They will present three of their most recent San Diego restaurant projects. The added incentive is that you will get to be a judge for a Chef-Off and Mix-Off with samples provided by Restaurant at the Pearl at The Pearl Hotel, Analog Music and Burger Bar, Raglan Public House, Starlite, and Vin De Syrah.
Explore the interplay between design, branding, food and cocktails!

Located at The Neurosciences Institute in La Jolla, this architecturally significant building has lots of free parking and is located right off of the 5 freeway at Genesee Avenue and John Jay Hopkins Drive. The Neurosciences Institute is part of the Performing Arts at The Neurosciences Institute Program.

Doors open for this 21-and-up evening event at 5:30 pm with drinks and appetizers provided by our generous sponsors Next Generation Wines and The Smoking Goat Restaurant. The Chef-Off and Mix-Off starts around 6:30 pm with the one-hour moderated speaking panel to follow from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Your moderator for the evening will be Editor-at-Large/Dining Critic Troy Johnson from San Diego Magazine.
