Ai Yamaguchi will mount recent paintings installed around a central barrel-shaped room, inspired by traditional Japanese teahouse architecture. The installation's interior will feature a panoramic mural image that melds Edo-period Japan with the native flora and fauna of California, fully immersing the viewer in Yamaguchi's fantasy world.
