Rick Ross ruled Miami’s underground rap scene, and then came out of the shadows to make the three biggest scores of his career when his first three albums all entered the Soundscan chart at No. 1 in 2006 (Port of Miami), 2008 (Trilla) and 2009 (Deeper Than Rap). His hit singles include “The Boss,” “Hustlin,” “Push It” and “Super Jam” from his current release, Teflon Don.

Sultry voiced singer Chrisette Michele released her latest CD, Epiphany, in 2009. She burst on to the scene with her stunning gold-certified debut, I Am, over two years ago. Blessed with a gorgeous instrument and described as a “soulful songbird” by Entertainment Weekly, the Long Island native’s debut was nominated for a BET Award for Best New Artist as well as two Grammy’s.

One of the rising stars in rap music, Fayetteville, North Carolina’s J. Cole was the first artist to be signed to Jay-Z’s label Roc Nation. Cole also appeared on Jay-Z’s album The Blueprint 3, on the track "A Star Is Born.
