"Age of Stupid" screening October 20, 2009

Screening of "The Age of Stupid" - the new documentary from Director Franny Armstrong (McLibel) and producer John Battsek (One Day In September). Pete Postlethwaite stars as a man living alone in the devastated future world of 2055, looking at old footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance?

Screening followed by short discussion of upcoming opportunities to get plugged into Bay Area climate justice activism, including the mass mobilization on October 24th organized by 350.org and the Mobilization for Climate Justice-West (http://actforclimatejustice.org/west).
