232 3rd Street at 3rd Avenue
Brooklyn, New York

Presented by Afrokinetic and M*Steady in association with Rooftop Films and Trace Magazine...

On Saturday July 19 the courtyard of The Old American Can Factory will come alive to the drums of the African Diaspora at Afrokinetic's 3rd annual outdoor summer series, Carmina Soul. Part 2 welcomes the explosive live stylings of afro-beat goddess Wunmi, alongside resident DJ Chris Annibell and percussionist Amon. Together they will infuse Brooklyn's dance community with West London Broken Beats, Latin Grooves, Atlanta Soul, NY Deep House, 2Step Classics, Disco and African Polyrhythms; a night geared towards honoring the cultural landscape of Gowanus, Brooklyn and to transcend the confines of traditional clubs.

Carmina Soul, Part 2 summons music enthusiasts, dancers and Brooklyn's free spirits to sweat away the weeks grind, Saturday July 19.
