What:
Adrian Paci Lecture at San Francisco Art Institute
In conjunction with the presentation of his work Turn On in Yerba Buena Center for the Arts’ exhibition Audience as Subject, Part 1: Medium, Adrian Paci will speak at the San Francisco Art Institute as a visiting artist. Paci creates artwork that addresses shifting regimes and cultural flux. He originally trained as a classical painter in his native Albania, but civil war forced him to relocate to Italy in 1997. Since that time, he has been working with video, photography, and sculpture to examine the desolation of displacement and to commemorate both the traditions and the struggles of his country.
