Schematic on Server-Side AIR

Join Schematic during the Iron Flexer competition as they discuss the ins and outs of developing AIR applications for use as a server-side Windows service. Schematic’s most recent AIR-related project (to be announced) made use of the AIR beta in a clever alternative to extending development to other languages and disciplines. Schematic’s Los Angeles Flash team (Ben Gorton, Jeff Yamada, Michael Avila, and Dan Cluff) will relay their experience, discussing their successes and lessons learned when using client-side code for server-side deployment. Come join us, support LA Flash and LA AIR, hear a good presentation, and enjoy the Iron Flexer competition.

New HD Video Flash Player, Flex 3 & Adobe AIR Roadmaps

We'll see what's new for Flex 3 and surrounding technologies. Adobe Integrated Runtime (Adobe AIR) beta has been out for a couple months, it's time to see what the field looks like for RIA developers. JavaScript people can make AIR apps, Flash people can make AIR apps, and Flex people can make AIR apps - we'll check them all out.

MAX 2007 (North America) Wrap Up - Explaining All The Codenames

A short info dump on what was announced at sold out Adobe MAX conference in Chicago. Over 4,000 registrants attended sessions on Flex 3, Adobe AIR, Flash Lite 3, Flash Media Server 3, Developer Center updates, Exchange updates, Thermo, Share, and few other codenamed goodies. We'll cover all these new and updated treats.
