Adiperukku and Aiyannar Festivall July 30, 2008

Ayyanar - Adiperukku a village and water festival is celebrated with much enthusiasm every year at Dakshinachitra. The day long folk performances, the sowing of the navadanyam (9 cereals) and the Ayyanar procession will add to the splendour of the monsoon celebration of 11 days.
