Adidas Run for the Parks April 20, 2008

The 'adidas Run for the Parks' welcomes over 8,000 runners and several thousand spectators to Central Park for what is the kickoff event of the running season. The 'adidas Run for the Parks' raises critical funds for the hundreds of free programs City Parks Foundation brings to more than 600,000 New Yorkers each year. The morning's festivities include Kids Races for children ages 2-12, a 4-Mile race for adults, and a post-race party in the Bandshell area featuring music, giveaways, and fun for runners and spectators.
