Action/Abstraction: Pollock, De Kooning and American Art, 1940-1976 June 4, 2009

The first major U.S. exhibition in 20 years to reconsider Abstract Expressionism and the art movements that followed, 'Action/Abstraction' will feature more than 50 key works by 31 artists, presented thematically and complemented by a rich selection of contextual materials.
