The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Seattle chapter welcomes leaders from public and private corporations, private equity firms, financial institutions, and professional service firms to join our monthly presentations. ACG Seattle provides members and guests with the finest quality educational and technical programs. The diverse programming provides access to a myriad of ideas to successfully and consistently achieve sound corporate growth, whether through internal or external means.

This month's program is part of our Economic Driver Series. Dr. John Mitchell, Principal of M&H Economic Consultants, will present, "A New Generation Learns - An Old Generation Quakes".

The first serious recession in 25 years has shocked a generation that knew only the Great Moderation while aging boomers with defined contribution pension plans recall the stories of their parents or grandparents of the decade of the 1930s. Policy makers have pulled out all the stops in both fiscal and monetary policy. There is a virtual alphabet soup of lending plans and nearly $800 billion of increased spending and tax changes over the next 9 years. Prospects and risks for the nation and Washington will be discussed.

The event begins with one hour of networking, beverage and heavy hors d'oeuvres followed by the program presentation and concludes with an open Q & A session.

$25 for ACG members; $50 for non-members; +$10 for walk-ins. Registration closes the Monday before the event.
