Beginning at Skeggs Point, this 6.2 mile loop easy/moderate loop descends into a quiet redwood and tanoak forest, then gradually climbs back uphill through woods and pockets of chaparral. A short out-and-back stretch visits the tafoni formation (wonderful stuff).

A quick and relaxing getaway hike through a gorgeous forest.

BRING: As always, make sure to bring water and snacks as we will stop for a quick munchie break; dress in layers, good hiking shoes and sunglasses...also $$ for pizza afterwards.
