"Behind Every Great Man There's An Evil Sled."
Introducing
"Aaah! Rosebud"
Thunderbird Theatre Company's Summer Comedy

A maniacal mogul, an evil sled, competitive curlers, an aspiring diva, and soul-devouring zombies hit the stage in Peter Finch's comic re-telling of Citizen Kane coming to San Francisco's New Langton Arts, and Berkeley's Julia Morgan Theater.

"Aaah! Rosebud" is the latest comedic production from San Francisco's Thunderbird Theatre Company. Now in it's ninth year, the Thunderbirds have produced numerous shows for Bay Area audiences, including the pirate romance spoof, "Lusty Booty" and last year's mythological offering, "Release the Kraken."

"Aaah! Rosebud" marks the playwriting debut of KFOG radio News Director Peter Finch. Finch says he appreciates the opportunity Thunderbird Theatre Company has given him to unleash his imagination, noting that in his day job as a broadcast journalist, "they don't like it when you make stuff up."

"Aaah! Rosebud" opens in San Francisco Thursday, August 23rd, and runs Thursday-Monday until Saturday, September 8th, at New Langton Arts, 1246 Folsom Street, between 8th and 9th Streets. All San Francisco performances begin at 8:00pm.

A brief East Bay run follows at the Julia Morgan Center for the Arts in Berkeley, 2640 College Ave., Friday, September 21st, 8:00pm, and Saturday, September 22nd at both 2:00pm and 8:00pm.

Ticket cost for all performances: $20 - $25. For information and tickets, visit www.thunderbirdtheatre.com or the Thunderbird hotline: (415) 289-6766.
