This Event: Explores the ethical issue of youth participation in competitive athletics. Specifically, a panel of Ann Arbor area experts will discuss the pros and cons involved with putting children on the fast track in their athletic endeavors.

What Attendees Will Learn: Useful mix of commentary and discussion about the best and worst practices of fast tracking our children in athletics. Advice and opinion exchanges from four individuals representing different sport traditions and decades of experience in handling ethics issues in youth sport participation. A question and answer session follows.

This Discussion Is For: Parents, coaches, educators, health care professionals and sport journalists.
