A TRIBUTE TO WWII MARINE AVIATORS: THE STORY OF THE SANTA BARBARA MARINE CORPS AIR STATION. 11 a.m. First Presbyterian Church, Christian Fellowship Center, 21 East Constance Ave. This is an illustrated/lecture by our Airport Director Karen Ramsdell on the history of the airport. She will also share information about the Marine aviators who sacrificed their lives for our country during World War II ; some of whom have been honored by street names located on the airport grounds as well as a monument erected there last month.
