This exhibition presents the epic story of the horse's influence on American Indian tribes beginning with the return of horses to the Western Hemisphere by Christopher Columbus to the present day. On display will be historical objects, new pieces by contemporary Native artists, archival photographs, lithographs and more. The exhibit also features audio-visual presentations of contemporary Native American horsemen, breeders, rodeos, powwows, horse races, and other events.
