This documentary examines how Ariel Dorfman, then Chilean cultural advisor to Salvador Allende, came to survive the deadly military coup that took the life of the president and many of his inner circle. Decades later, filmmaker Peter Raymond joins Dorfman as he travels back to Chile to reunite with friends and fellow resisters, even as Augusto Pinochet lay dying.
