Washington, District of Columbia

Host: The Heritage Foundation.
As President Obama and Congress prepare to tackle the immigration problem once again, the country has focused its attention on Washington, D.C. for solutions. The immigration problem is much too large and deep-rooted to be fixed by the federal government alone. Instead, the solution will require cooperation and partnership with local government and law enforcement agencies. Already, many communities have begun working towards immigration reform.

Please join us as Sheriff Charles Jenkins of Frederick County, Maryland, discusses the role of local governments in immigration enforcement.
