The American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theater Institute for Advanced Theater Training presents the last production of the 2009-10 season, A History of American Film by Christopher Durang, directed by Thomas Derrah, and performed by the Institute Class of 2010. Poor orphan Loretta Moran finds herself as the accidental tour guide through a Technicolor odyssey of American films where no movie is safe from satire. Joined by instantly recognizable archetypes such as the tough guy and the wisecracking broad, Loretta bumbles her way through history, musical numbers, and Hollywood-gone-haywire.

Tickets are $10 for the general public; $5 for students, and seniors, free to A.R.T. subscribers and can be purchased at the Loeb Drama Center or by calling the A.R.T. Box Office at (617) 547-8300 or online at http://www.americanrepertorytheater.org
