The Tigard Public Library will host an intergenerational event on Friday, Nov. 13 from 3-5 p.m. in the Library’s Community Room. A brainchild of a local teen, this event was created to bring teens and seniors together to mingle and play games.

The event’s planners invite grandparents to bring their grandkids and teens to bring their grandparents to the library for an afternoon of board games, chess, Wii bowling, swing music and dancing. The library will also provide snacks, card making and craft supplies for participants to create gifts for the holidays. Though the event is tailored to seniors and teens, family members of all ages are welcome.

For information, please call the Library at 503-684-6537 or visit the Library’s Web page at www.tigard-or.gov/library and click on Adult or Teen Programs.
