Hailing from Portand, Oregon, the band plays metal/rock/hardcore music. From Portland, Oregon, the band plays metal music and features James, Andy, Cory and Christian. Von Doom established itself as a band in 2005. Originally titled Smashgarden, three guys set out to make their mark on the local metal scene. After the departure of former lead guitarist Wesley Robinson, bassist Eric Fordney and drummer Billy Serocki set out to continue the journey, with Billy taking over writing songs for both guitar and drums. Since then, the band has seen several members come and go, but the progress has never ended. Von Doom continues to strive to make the most inspirational music possible.
