Charles Dickens' classic holiday tale of regret and redemption, "A Christmas Carol," will be performed by child actors as part of the Williamsburg Regional Library's Classics In The Library series. The play will be presented at the Williamsburg Library Theatre, 515 Scotland Street, on Saturday, December 2 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, December 3 at 2 p.m. Caroling on stage prior to the performance and free cookies and apple juice at intermission will add to the festive atmosphere. Admission is free of charge; no tickets will be distributed in advance. Doors will open 45 minutes prior to the performance and seating is on a first-come basis. In fairness to all, no saving of seats will be allowed.

Classics In The Library is a partnership between Williamsburg Regional Library and Backstage Productions, directed by Naomi Marrow. Classics In The Library offers the community free family theater productions designed to bring classics in childrens literature and family theater to the stage for the enjoyment of an intergenerational audience.
