A Call For Angels: November 13, 7PM

It takes a community to raise a child - so come dance for a local 8 year-old boy who needs help! On November 13 at 7PM, the Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church will come alive as singer, songwriter, and Broadway star Crystal Monee Hall of "Rent" headlines a rockin musical benefit for Aidan Hurst-Hopf, who needs Spina Bifida surgery available only in China.

Joining Hall onstage will be prominent Bay Area musician Rich Armstrong, Uriah Duffy (of Whitesnake), alumni musicians from the Waldorf School of the Peninsula where Aidan attends 2nd grade, and the Waldorf parent band Soul Providers. From Broadway hits to 60's and 80's pop, experience a night of harmony, dancing, joy, and hope. And bring your kids!

All proceeds from this musical celebration and silent auction will go towards the $68,000 needed for an advanced nerve rerouting surgery available only in China, which will enable a normal life for this otherwise healthy and beautiful child. The surgery is needed within months or it will be too late, and without it, he faces a life of pain, disability, and incontinence. It is unavailable in the US, but a specialized Chinese surgeon has performed it successfully over 500 times.

This event is organized by Aidan's Angels, comprised of Aidan's family, friends, and the extended community of his school.
