A night celebrating Cuba's contribution to the love of love: If Cubans didn't actually invent romance, they did create its most exquisite form of expression -- the bolero. This show, curated by Grammy-nominated Cuban singer/songwriter /guitarist Juan-Carlos Formell features the bolero in all its glory. Expect the entire trajectory, from the 19th century classics performed by Cuban guitar virtuosos Jose Luis Martinez and Ernesto Tamayo, to the edgy passion of el nuevo bolero of Juan-Carlos Formell, performed by Formell himself.
