A BODY WITHOUT A HEAD is a multimedia theatrical fantasia based on George R. Carr’s stunning collection of poems for anyone anywhere who at anytime has lost his head to love. Written during a trip to St. Tropez, the odes were inspired by the island’s namesake, Saint Torpes, a martyr who was beheaded for holding fast to his spiritual beliefs. Upon hearing the enigmatic tale, Carr wrote the series of poems, which were later published alongside his brother Zack Carr’s sketches in a book of the same name. Now, Veritas Productions brings the poems to life with an evocative, dreamlike production.
