An exhibition comprised of framed photographs and text associated with a historic celebration held in memory of Abraham Lincoln on the Presidential Grounds July 4, 1865. The celebration was the first national event held by African Americans in the United States. In addition, photographs and literature will be exhibited featuring Abraham Lincoln (illustrating an aspect of his life and legacy) and members of the organization responsible for the event - The National Lincoln Monument Association
