Thousands of New York-area residents will jumpstart their St. Patrick?s Day festivities by hoisting a pint or two from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 11th at the 7th Annual South Street Seaport Irish Stroll.

The pre-Saint Paddy?s Day event offers revelers a fun-filled, economical way to celebrate the holiday at a multitude of establishments located along the cobblestone streets and historic pier of South Street Seaport. A unique feature of the event is that patrons have the freedom to carry drinks to and from the Seaport?s participating establishments, including outside along the waterfront.

DJs and the band The Mix will provide music throughout the afternoon and evening in the Pier 17 Atrium, while participating bars and restaurants in the area serve up $2 Budweiser and Bud Light drafts, $2 Bud Selects, $3 B to the E, as well as other drink and food specials. Participating restaurants and bars include: Bergin?s Wine and Beer Garden, Fresh Salt, JP Mustard, MacMenamin?s, Pacific Grill, Paris Bar, Pizza on the Pier, Seaport Café, Sequoia, Simply Seafood and Yorkville Burgers.

Admission is $10 with two cans of food (benefiting City Harvest) and $15 without can donations. All participating guests must be 21 or over and each will receive a commemorative cup, a wristband and a map.
