Mabuhay! Traditionally held on the second weekend of August, the 7th Annual Filipino Festival starts Friday, August 10 from 5-10pm, and on Saturday, August 11 from 10am-10pm. Celebrate the richness of the Philippines without leaving Virginia! Enjoy authentic cuisine such as lumpia, pancit, adobo, lechon, halo-halo, San Miguel beer, and more. Traditional cultural program to include entertainment by local and regional Filipino artists and youths. Plus health screenings, many vendors, crafts, kiddie area, and more! Several popular bands to include Janet Martin, Keith Horne, D'Originals, McGill Jackson, Five & Dimers, Cedar Creek, and TH. Special performances by the Latin Ballet of Virginia. Consular staff from the D.C. Philippine Embassy to process Philippine travel documents on site. Admission is FREE ($2 donation gladly accepted). Proceeds to support local charities to include local food pantries, clothes closets, scholarships, and the Lakeside Free Clinic. Join us!
