The 5th birthday of Red Hill Books starts on the 1st of May with a gamblers' sale that runs through the 7th.
On May 3rd, Saturday, we celebrate full force with avant-funk band Slydini and the clearly clever Ramon & Jessica with a reading from the hilarious author of Buddha Baby and I Want Candy, Kim Wong Keltner.

Ramon & Jessica will begin the afternoon with the hilarious Kim Wong Keltner reading from her just released book, I Want Candy, (a sort of Are You There God, It's Me Margaret only with more sex, expletives, Chinese people, and explosions) with david lynch like avant-funk band, Slydini!
Kim Wong Keltner will give away free books to anyone courageous enough to challenge the urban myth that pop rocks and soda will explode in your stomache. Ms Keltner will also provide the pop rocks and soda!
