Come join and support BAWT on our Fourth Annual Raft Trip down the South Fork of the American River on July 21st and/or 22nd. Get wet and wild on the class III Gorge section on Saturday or the class III+ Chili Bar section on Sunday or both! Each run is about 10-12 miles long, takes about 5-6 hours to complete, and we'll supply you with lunch to help power you through the rapids.

Bay Area Wilderness Training will have a campsite at Camp Lotus for those wishing to camp Friday or Saturday night, at $9 per person/per night. If you camp out with BAWT, be sure to bring your own breakfast and dinner to cook up in between rafting, volleyball playing and hobnobbing with other great people.

Trips will be led by BAWT volunteer and former board member Delton Johnson and 6 other trained guides, all of whom are volunteering their time so that all of proceeds can go directly to Bay Area Wilderness Training's programs and services.

Kids are more than welcome, although those under 12 years old need to bring their own life jackets. The cost for a great time on the American and helping BAWT get youth outdoors is $75 for adults per day of rafting, and $50 for 12-15 year olds. See you on the river!
