Come visit us at the Violet Patch 4th Annual People's Choice African Violet Show & Sale at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, Florida on Mother's Day weekend. Saturday & Sunday May 9 & 10, 2009 @ 9:30-4:30

Our club was founded in 1980 for the purpose of gathering together those interested in growing African violets and their Gesneriad relatives in the South Florida area. Since then, many members have participated in trading plants and leaves, learning from programs on cultivation, putting on shows, and generally enjoying the company of those who are enchanted by the many varieties of our favorite plant.

Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Meetings are usually the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm at the Broward
County Extension Center 3245 College Ave. Davie, Fl 33314 To find where the group meets go to website.
I-595 to Davie Road (between University Drive and the Turnpike). Go south 1/2 mile to Nova Drive. Turn right. Go 1/4 mile to College Avenue. Turn left. Go 1/4 mile. The Broward County Extension Center is a one-story building on your right.
